Can I use an old blog post?
Yes, you can link up any TRAVEL related post, old or new! You can post ONE your travel stories, favorite destinations and tips!
Why do I need to add the badge to my post?
The badge helps us spread the word about the Weekly Postcard Linkup so that others will join in the fun! Please add a link back to one of the co-host’s blogs. By adding the link, it’s also a “thank you” for the host.
Posts without a badge will be removed!
How do I add the badge?
Copy the badge html code (from the gray box on the page you add your link) into your text editor. You can add it to the bottom of your page or in a sidebar.
If you have problems adding the code, you can add upload the badge as a picture and include a text saying that this post has been linked up with the Weekly Postcard.
How can I help spread the word about the linkup?
Give a shout out on Twitter and let your followers know that you have joined the linkup. Use the hashtag #TheWeeklyPostcard on your social media and also when you comment on other blogs that have joined in the link up. We monitor the hashtag on twitter and like and retweet content.
When can I add my post?
The linkup opens each Friday at 12 PM PST/ 3 PM EST and closes on Sunday at 3 PM PST/ 6 PM EST.
How much time do I have to comment on and share posts?
Try to comment and share the other posts during the period the linkup is open (Friday to Sunday). We understand everyone is busy, so if you need more time, please try to be finished commenting before the next week’s link up. Please try to share and comment on at least three other bloggers’ posts each week.
Where can I find the linkup?
The linkup is at the bottom of select posts. Posts containing linkups can be found here on California Globetrotter.
